Some youths from California and Baja California decided to meet and learn from each other’s cultures. This became a great opportunity to go beyond their own borders and realize that there is more in common that what they thought.

The town of Gary, Indiana is one of the poorest in the USA. A hundred teenagers from six states went there to help organize activities with the homeless, to serve at a soup kitchen and canteen and work on urban renewal. For many of them it was an unforgettable experience that opened their eyes not only to the needs but also the beauty of the town, which is, before all else, a community.
