St. Joseph's Parish Center, Appleton, Wisconsin welcomed the local Focolare community on Saturday, August 13 for a beautiful "Evening with the Focolare," a sharing of post-Mariapolis experiences.

Some friends who are new to the Focolare as well as those who could not attend the summer Mariapolis in Valparaiso last July got a taste of what it had been. Sylvan Praturlon from the Men's Focolare Center in Chicago shared his experiences of discerning and living the Will of God. Jady Giacobbe, from the Women's Focolare Center in Chicago, used a synthesis of the three main talks given at the summer Mariapolis to describe the beauty of living the Will of God in light of the Focolare spirituality of unity,

Experiences of saying "yes" to God's will and living it in everyday life were shared. The evening ended with viewing a selections of questions and answers with Chiara, whose replies shed practical light on how to listen to the inner voice and strive to live the Will of God in each present moment.
