Nearly 500 people attended the eventthat was held at the Sheraton Hilton Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. They came from North America, Santo Domingo, Australia and Europe. An additional thousand participants were linked up via internet.

The Focolare Movement invites you to the Mariapolis, Saturday July 7 to Tuesday July 10, Valparaiso University, Harre Union. If you can't make it for everything, consider spending the day with us on Saturday and/or Sunday.

Mariapolis is the Focolare’s annual gathering that offers youth and adults an experience of how life is transformed when Gospel love and unity are at its core.

Chicago Focolare community, guests and friends celebrate an evening of Prayer for Christian Unity

pcu2012 20120121 002Braving bitter cold and the heaviest snowfall of the season, 130 members and friends of the Focolare came together in warm, deep communion for an evening of prayer for Christian unity. The event was held at the KAM Isaiah Temple, Hyde Park, Chicago, in a meeting room where the Torah scrolls are kept.
