The Focolare Movement invites you to a Prayer Service
celebrating Christian Unity

Every year, on the 3^rd week of January, the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
is celebrated worldwide. The Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity
and the World Council of Churches jointly invite all Christians to get together
during that week in formal or informal gatherings to pray for unity.

In order to celebrate this important occasion, we’ll be holding a simple Prayer
Service on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Church of the Visitation Parish
Hall, 6561 West 88^thStreet, Los Angeles, CA 90045, at 7:30 pm.

Due to the very open nature of the program (a few songs, the prayers and readings
suggested by the Church, this month’s Word of Life…), it could be an excellent
opportunity to invite friends, colleagues, parishioners, relatives and other acquaintances
of any Christian background who may want to get together to pray for unity.
