The other day my house mate called me from work and asked if I could go in the attic to look for a box she needed.

I always have a hard time going to the attic because it is hot, dark, and I can never find what I'm looking for.  I went, but I couldn't find the box!  At first, I felt like I had done my part, and it wasn't my fault that I didn't find it.  But later on in the day I remembered that, that same morning while reading the Word of Life of October, it had struck me that I could respond to that call, "Follow me," by doing what God wants in the present moment.

"Follow me." (Mt 9:9)

The commentary reads, "(...) do God’s will with determination, dedicating ourselves fully to the brothers and sisters that we are called to love."  I thought about my friend who would have to go look for the box herself after work, tired, and I realized she was one of those "sisters" I was called to dedicate to fully.

So I decided to go back up in the attic to look for the box one more time.  I hadn't even finished going up the ladder and I saw the box that I needed right in front of me!
